Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy for Wheelers Hill Families
Wheelers Hill sits directly east of us. For most Wheelers Hill families, Kids Connect Therapy in Mulgrave is the closest multi-disciplinary children's therapy clinic there is — a short run down Ferntree Gully Road or Police Road and you're here.

We're in this for the long run
A lot of the Wheelers Hill families we see have been with us for years. We've worked with children from their first pre-verbal session through to the transition to secondary school, and in plenty of cases we've gone on to see younger siblings too.
That continuity is worth naming, because paediatric therapy is not a course of treatment with a finish line. Needs change as a child grows — the goals at three are nothing like the goals at eight, and the goals at eight are nothing like the goals at twelve. Having a clinic that knows the whole history means you're not re-explaining your child every time something shifts.
If you have more than one child needing support, we will do our best to schedule siblings together so you're making one trip rather than three.

Getting outside the clinic room
Wheelers Hill families are well served for green space — Jells Park and the Dandenong Valley Parklands are on your doorstep — and we use that. A lot of what we work on in occupational therapy is about generalising skills into real environments: playground equipment, bike riding, navigating a busy park, coping with the noise and unpredictability of other kids.
Skills that only exist in a therapy room aren't skills yet. We build sessions and home programs so that what you practise here works at Jells Park on Sunday.
School and kinder visits
We visit schools and kinders across the Monash area and work directly with educators on classroom strategies, sensory supports and communication systems. If your child's teacher has raised concerns, or if you'd like your therapist to see how your child actually functions in the classroom, ask us. Contact us about a school visit →

Questions from Wheelers Hill families
Can our two children be seen on the same day?
Wherever possible, yes. Tell us when you join the waitlist and we'll try to build the schedule around one trip.
My child finished therapy two years ago and things have got hard again. Can we come back?
Yes, and it's common. Needs re-emerge at transition points — starting school, moving to Year 3, starting secondary. Get in touch and we'll pick up where we left off.
Do you do Saturday appointments?
Yes, but they are limited and in high demand. Join the waitlist →
